Piper Sandler raised its Shopify (SHOP, $1,053) price target to $1,300 from $1,015 after the company this morning reported very strong Q2 results. 

Revenue rose 97% to $714.3 million, coming in well above the consensus estimate of $510.8 million. 

Merchant solutions revenue surged 148% to $517.9 million, driven by hefty expansion in GMV, which jumped 119% to $30.1 billion, easily beating Wall Street estimates.

Shopify shares today rose 6.9% on heavy volume and hit a new all-time high at $1,107.92.

BofA/Merrill raised its NVIDIA (NVDA, $398.68) price target to $460 from $420, saying upcoming next-generation gaming consoles will drive a significant GPU upgrade cycle for the company. 

The firm expects these advanced consoles to set “a new bar for mainstream performance.” But just 9% of PC gamers have a GPU card on par with the performance of the new consoles, according to BofA/Merrill.

Gamers upgrading to higher ASP cards could create upside to what BofA/Merrill thinks are conservative 2H gaming sales growth estimates on Wall Street.

NVIDIA shares today hit a new all-time high at $402.80.
